Oktoberfest 2012

This weekend was the St. Charles Oktoberfest.  We had such a great time last year (read here) so our kids were really excited when we told them that it was time to go again.

The first thing on Mommy and Daddy's agenda was to get our stein and hit the Hofbrauhaus tent.  (Yes, I realize the hubs is wearing the same shirt as last year.  He loves this shirt.  It means "keg security"-ha!)

I love this picture because Caleb is actually saying, "Moooooo"

Of course, Gaga had to go be the princesses prince.

The kids had so much fun sliding.

They each shot a pellet gun and won some prizes.  What was I thinking?  Kanin chose a bow and arrow and the babies each chose a sword.  There have been fights in my house for 3 days!

This was one of the best parts of the night.  Kanin put on the velcro suit and the worker threw him against the wall.  He tried and tried to get down or climb the wall but was stuck.  It was hilarious.

Finally, it was Mommy and Daddy's turn to have fun.  We went over to the big tent to listen to some polka and to dance a bit.  Scott also had to get his German sausages and I wanted some kraut.  Grace, again, had Daddy wrapped around her finger.

The kids ended the night riding the swings.  They had a great time and so did we.  I love days like these.
